PV Juvenile Arrested for School Threats Featured

JUVENILE ARRESTED FOR SCHOOL THREATS

On Monday, April 29, 2019 at approximately 10:00 AM a twelve year old student at Granville Elementary School made terrorism threats by stating he would bring a firearm to school and become a school shooter, killing people. The Prescott Valley Police Department responded to the location and, upon investigation, arrested the juvenile.

The juvenile was booked at the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention facility for one count of making terrorism threats and two counts of threatening and intimidating.

The Police Department and the Unified School District take seriously all threats against students or school staff.

If you see or hear anything suspicious, notify law enforcement immediately.
