Prescott Trails Project comments wanted.

Share your comments on a Prescott trails project at 6 tonight. The Bradshaw Ranger District is seeking input on 62 miles of trails and 1 trailhead proposal to improve access and address natural resource concerns. Twenty-seven miles of those trails are designated for all-terrain vehicles. These trails would allow use by all other motorized and non-motorized users. The other 35 miles are designated for motorcycles. The proposals include reroutes, changes in status, adoption of unauthorized trails and new construction. Tonight’s public meeting on this trails project will be held at the Boys and Girls Clubs facility, located on Aubrey Street in Prescott. More information on this project is available at fs.usda.gov.

Coffee & Chat in Prescott Valley

Join Prescott Valley Police representatives and a Yavapai County Supervisor for a free cup of coffee and conversation. The department will be hosting a Coffee with a Cop event at 8 tomorrow morning at Cracker Barrel, located on Highway 69. Officer Jerry Ferguson explains why these events are held. Ferguson says last month’s Coffee with a Cop, which was held at Starbuck’s on Glassford Hill Road, involved a temporary new employee. On Thursday morning at 8, Yavapai County Supervisor Jack Smith is scheduled to host a Coffee Chat at the Step 1 Coffee House on 2nd Street in Prescott Valley. The discussion topic will be the one-quarter of a cent Jail District sales tax.
