Bill's Newscast: Trick or Treating in Chino Valley Featured

Lots of community trick or treating in the quad city area!

Local Trick or Treatin'

Prescott Valley and Chino Valley’s Trick or Treat events were big hits with residents and visitors.  A Safe Halloween event was held at the Prescott Valley Event Center 1 week ago.  More than 24 hundred trick or treaters visited the businesses and organizations that participated.  The Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Business League sponsored this free event.

Meanwhile, the Town of Chino Valley hosted its 20th annual Trick or Treat at Memory Park.  During a live appearance on yesterday’s Talk of the Town on KQNA 1130 AM, 95.5 and 99.9 FM , spokeswoman Cindy Thomas called this event a success. Thomas says Memory Park will also be home to a Chino Valley Christmas on December 9th from 10 to 4. The ornaments that are brought back will be hung on the Town of Chino Valley’s Christmas tree.

Coffee Chat and Town Hall

Share your comments and concerns with 2 Yavapai County Supervisors.  Supervisor Jack Smith is hosting a Coffee Chat at 8 tomorrow morning at the Step One Coffee House, located on 2nd Street in Prescott Valley.  This is an opportunity for County residents to discuss important issues facing the community.  At 6 tonight, Supervisor Craig Brown is scheduled to host a Town Hall meeting at the Juniper Woods Land Owners Association facility on Folkerts Lane in Juniper Woods Ranch, located in the Ash Fork area.  Department representatives from Public Works, Development Services, Community Health, the Flood Control District, Emergency Management and the Sheriff’s Office are also scheduled to participate.
