Annual Sedona Marathon Takes Place In Feburary

The New Year is approaching quickly which means the 12th Annual Sedona Marathon Event is just a few months away.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday February 4th which is expected to include over 3,000 runners and walkers participating in the various distance courses from 5K, 10K, half-marathon or full marathon race.

Individuals will experience the scenic Coconino National Forrest District along with a stroll through the beautiful streets of Sedona on the course.

Additionally, there is an Expo at the classic Elk Lodge on Friday Feburary 3rd from 2-8pm in Sedona that will feature vendors that inspire and entertain those who attend. Individuals who register can also pick up a virtual goodie bag and a gender-specific race shirt. Packets can also be picked up at the event.

At the end of race day, everybody who participates will walk away with something to remember the activities, as each person who finishes the race will receive a medal.

Individuals who sign-up for the marathon before December 31st can take advantage of special pricing.

Shuttles on the event day are scheduled to run from 6:00am to 4:30pm, completely free of charge. Parking for participants and spectators are available at the Sedona Cultural Park and Sedona High School. The start and finish line is located on Navoti Drive between Bristlecone and S. Foothills Dr. A map of the shuttle routes is below.
