Arizona's Christmas City Revs Up with a Light Parade Featured

Probably the busiest time of the year in Prescott is the Christmas season, and it starts now!

Prescott starts celebrating Christmas on Saturday, November 26th with the 21st Annual Holiday Light Parade & After-Parade Party. It’s all the good things in Prescott mixed into one event: a parade, Christmas lights, a bonfire and music. What’s not to like?

This year's parade route is a bit different than other parades in Prescott. It will start at South Cortez and Carlton, head north past the courthouse down to Willis, turn west to Montezuma and return to Carleton, where the floats will end up at the Mile High Middle School football field. After the parade is finished, the community is invited to enjoy the bonfire and holiday entertainment at the football field, where the floats will be displayed.

Temperatures are expected to be pretty chilly, perhaps as low as 46º. Dress warm!
