Queen Creek, AZ: Star Students Recognized by Queen Creek Town Council

Students Recognized for Being Helpful and Considerate, Demonstrating Good Citizenship

The Queen Creek Town Council honored 16 students at the Feb. 17 Star Students ceremony. The ceremony recognized middle and high school students who are helpful and considerate of others while demonstrating good citizenship. Participating schools are invited to select students that have been nominated by their teachers for displaying citizenship, service and integrity. 

The following students were recognized:

Benjamin Franklin High School:Hannah Cundiff, Mark Hammer, Jared Householder and Tara Judkins

Heritage Academy Gateway Campus:Emily Bradfield 

Newell Barney Junior High:Dylan Lindsay, Oakley Slade and Kasey Woods

Queen Creek High School:Paige Rosta and Dylan Royston

Queen Creek Middle School:Caiden Crosby

Sossaman Middle School:Maxwell Basta, Brooke Church, Jace Johnson, Devon LeDay and Jenny Lin

“Our students are our future,” commented Mayor Gail Barney. “It is an honor to recognize these young adults for their contributions to the community. The Town Council and I appreciate the parents and teachers who are committed to education and create a positive, lasting impact on our students.”
