How Long Before I Can Qualify Again to Buy a House?

08.Aug.2013

Hey, remember that it's 'Shark' week, according to Punchbowl.com. Not that it's much of a problem for us in Arizona, there aren't many sharks in their natural habitat in our state!

(No, I will not mention lawyers at this time.)

But, if you're in the mood for some education, (since it's also back-to-school week for many communities) there's a Shark Foundation site that is crammed full of information you can read.

Of course, if you're more in the mood for shark steaks than fishy learning, here's a recipe for that which might be worth trying. Wouldn't that go nicely with zucchini - which by the way, it's National Zucchini Day. And since it's National Peach Month, we all know what's for dessert...

Oh, my.

It's National Friendship Day today.

Sounds like a great time to get together to enjoy one another. Share a pizza, go on a hike, catch up with your Facebook buddies. Trade recipes, secrets and old memories. But, it's not just Friendship Day, it's also Sisters Day and Coast Guard Day, according to Punchbowl.com.

There's gotta be something you can celebrate in that list! While we're at it, you might be interested in knowing it's also Simplify Your Life Week. (That's one we all can take part in!) As for the month of August, it's time to celebrate National Goat Cheese Month, and National Peach Month and National Water Quality Month.
