Wednesday, July 19, is National Hot Dog Day, and that gives you the best excuse ever to go for it!
Hot dogs are great for grilling, broiling, pan frying and even boiling. They taste good on a bun, or by themselves. Some people like to cut them into pieces and add to Mac’n’Cheese. Others like to cut a slit down the middle (but not all the way through) and stuff it full of cheese, then wrap with an uncooked biscuit or a croissant. Bake at 425º until done. Voila! Super special pigs in a blanket.
