Prescott Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect Featured

Officer David Fuller

Suspect in armed robbery sought by Prescott Police.

The Prescott Police Department is investigating a recent Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Theft of a motor vehicle and is seeking the help of the public to locate and apprehend the suspect. On March 15, 2017 Officers responded to the parking lot of 3050 State Route 69 in reference to a theft of a motor home.  The subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect Jeremy Chandler Bertrand, had assaulted the victim at knife point and then stole his motor home.  The vehicle was later located.

The suspect is described as a 23 year old C/M, approximately 6’0”, 140 lbs, brown eyes and brown hair.  He has a tear drop tattoo next to his left eye and “Bertrand” tattooed across his back.  His current address is unknown.  Bertrand was last seen in the parking lot at 6000 Willow Creek Rd at approximately 8:30 PM.  It is believed that Bertrand got into the truck bed of an unrelated silver P/U, unbeknownst to that driver, which drove off northbound on highway 89.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and later released for his injuries.
