Michael Duwayne Trujillo was arrested around 12:15pm on Thursday afternoon at a house in the 1300 block of Prairie Grass Lane in Chino Valley with no injuries after a standoff according to D’Evelyn. The scene involved multiple officers and patrol cars from the Chino Valley Police Department and the Yavapai County Sherriff’s Office.

Additionally, Earlier last week, the Chino Valley Police Department announced 26-year-old Tiffany Basham, from Chino Valley, was arrested in relation to the investigation for child abuse, endangerment, disobeying a judicial proceeding and neglect or abuse of a minor after an investigation indicated Basham not only allowed but encouraged Trujillo to be around the children even though a court order prohibited Trujillo from spending time with the one-year old and three-year-old.
