Suspect Wanted in Foothills District Tucson Bank Robbery Featured

Bank robbery in the Foothills District

Tonight, at approximately 5:46 p.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the Compass Bank located at 5085 North La Canada Drive for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male suspect entered the Albertson’s store where the bank is located, walked up to the bank teller and placed a note on the counter, demanding the cash from the drawer. The teller gave the cash to the suspect, at which time he exited the store. 

 The suspect is described as: 

Caucasian, appearing to be in his early to mid-20’s 

Approximately 5’6” in height, brown hair, and a clean-shaven face 

Last seen wearing a white hat, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants 

Night Squad Detectives responded to the scene to conduct an initial investigation. They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
