On November 21, 2016 at about 2:40PM, a suspect identified as a male black in his 50’s committed robbery, assault, criminal damage, theft and disorderly conduct when he forcibly removed a lock box containing cash from a locked drawer inside the reception area of Aspen Dental on State Route 69 in Prescott Valley. When three employees attempted to stop him, he attacked them causing injuries. Several thousand dollars were stolen.
The suspect escaped in a 2017 silver Jeep Patriot 4-door station wagon which was driven by a female. The vehicle license plate was Arizona #AZL1738, registered to Enterprise Car Rental out of Tucson. An Enterprise employee stated that the rented vehicle was overdue and identified the person who rented the vehicle as Kevin Eric Camper with a Tucson address.
After a thorough investigation by the Prescott Valley Police Criminal Investigations Section, an arrest warrant was issued for Camper. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016 the United States Marshall’s Office located Kevin Camper and arrested him.
Thanks to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Detective Section of the Prescott Valley Police Department and the attentiveness of the United States Marshall’s Office, this incident is solved with minimal injury to anyone.
